Differences Between Imported and Domestic Fireproof Boards

The Differences Between Imported and Domestic Fireproof Boards Can Be Distinguished by Production Materials, Quality, Price, Construction Characteristics, and Application Fields:

1. Imported Fireproof Boards use high-quality, environmentally friendly premium color paper, virgin wood pulp, phenolic resin, and melamine resin, which are processed under high temperature and pressure to form a wear-resistant layer. The product's underside is slightly yellowish, and the surface has a soft, natural color. Prices range from ¥160 to ¥300, varying based on the difficulty of surface treatment, with plain colors, general wood grains, special wood grains, and special metal series (more expensive at ¥560-2200).

2. Domestic Fireproof Boards use siliceous or calcareous materials as the main raw materials, mixed with a certain proportion of recycled fiber materials, lightweight aggregates, adhesives, and chemical additives, and are manufactured into decorative boards through autoclave technology. The thickness is generally 0.6-1.2mm. Fireproof boards are widely used in the modern construction industry. Prices are very affordable, ranging from ¥25 to ¥60. The color quality is relatively poor and prone to fading, generally used for temporary decorations such as exhibition display cabinets.
